LOCKERZ is a SCAM

Debunk the scam site Lockerz

Who are you?

I am ZDoctor. I created Lockerz-Scam. I have been waiting for you. You have many questions, and although the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably ignorant. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also irrelevant.

Is Lockerz a Scam?

Lockerz is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of GPT Sites. It is the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden to sedulously avoid it, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.

Lockerz Hired and Paid for “Proof” Pics

Christian ValenciaI guess Lockerz time is coming up. It has been found out that Lockerz hired Fanscape to virally market the site, and post fake proofs all over the internet. Christian Valencia is one of these perpetrators.

This is the proof

Lockerz has been officially proven as a scam.

@ lockerzisreal: Does your mommy know you are saying bad words on the internet? And why not show proof of your “bounty”? Show the Fucker’z shipping label without omitting their address? Also, @Elan: the shirt means nothing, as it’s used for promotional purposes to promote their crap site. I can buy several 25 cent shirts, put my face on them using my printer, and send them to you just so I can promote my website.

  17. Lockerz Person Said,

Right, okay, lets get this straight. Lockerz is not a scam. Sure, it can be gay at times and really annoying, but its not a joke.
I got an ipod shuffle from it, and they sent it me fine. Also, its a FULL LICENSED company so it’s definatly not going to be some scam. And also, why would they pay out for a scammed, fake website?

Thats that, nuff’ said, but if you want some more proof, just search youtube and look at videos where people get their prizes.

  20. Lockerz=real Said,

Lockerz definitely real. Many people have already confirmed that they have received their prizes, just search Answers and Youtube. Right now Lockerz is in beta, so that’s why it seems strange that they would give everything for free. However, they will officially launch soon and then will start selling things and whatnot along with what they have now, and that’s probably where income will come from.
    Hope that helps.

  22. NoFear1183 Said,

    @Lockerz=real
When you say many? You mean at best a 1,000? If of all those are 100% legit, that is still less than 1% of its members. Considering the about section doesn’t mention anything about “chance” or “might” get a prize but you CAN and WILL get a prize for answering dailies just doesn’t seem like they care about their members at all. They only care about getting paid by other companies to have ‘surveys’ answered by hundreds of thousands to only pay less than %1 of their member population for participating. Lockerz is a great middleman for companies to have basic survey questions answered and not worry about paying everyone to answer. Very well operated scam.

  26. Jack15 Said,

What I found interesting about this “lockerz” proof picture is the USPS sticker on the envelope.

    1. It is a sticker, not a shipping label, which means someone stood in line at the post office and physically handed the envelope to a clerk and paid for it. Most companies that ship a lot of packages normally don’t do this. They usually print out shipping labels from UPS (companies that ship things that ship mostly things over 10 or so ounces), or print USPS labels if it is a company that sells mostly things that are only a few ounces or use a postage meter if they send really tiny things. But no company is going to send a worker to the post office and have him wait in line and then have the clerk process them one by one. That would take forever. I did it once when the label printer broke. I was there for about an hour.

    2. The price: $1.35. That was exactly the price of a First Class package rate for 1-2 ounces up until the latest price increase. USPS considers bubble-mailers as packages, not letters. So, whatever was actually shipped weighed less than 2 ounces, including the weight of the bubble-mailer

  27. Tarugo Said,

    @NoFear1183….
dude don’t you have lottery on the country where you belong???? and not just only you,, but everyone… the logic of lottery is to put up a high price so people will participate, join and buy a ticket or two, although the ticket is VERY CHEAP, say for example 10 cents/ticket, if 1,000,000 people join then the price will rise up to 100,000. The more people join, the more the price goes up…
My point is, if Lockerz is a scam, so must be the lottery. Because on lottery you HAVE TO PAY a ticket that expires in ONE DAY in order to participate, unlike Lockerz, they just want to know what you want , PS3 or Xbox360, iMac or MacPro and etc. And you just have to watch videos and answer Dailies…

It’s the new trend of online business man, get more people to visit your site and the ads will pay you good money…

AND ALSO, I and my friends haven’t receive a single phone call or junk emails,NEVER….

IMO, maybe the reason you guys are calling Lockerz a scam is, that they made a great way, not just great way, IMO a perfect way to get more people visit and join their site while having a great profit at the same time…

So why call it a scam if you don’t have anything to lose? not a single junk email from Indian companies or receive a phone call from someone on that sells???

It’s just a like survey that our government does every year.. they just need to know what we need and they’ll provide it,or have to buy it…..

    I say lockerz made a good strategy…

  29. hatycat Said,

You could consider lockerz is a scam because they do everything possible to keep you away from the prize, rarely restocking, rising the costs right before they do, making u interested in things you will never get enough points for, but the fact is, if u get more then enough points , wait a couple months for a restock, and buy something cheaper like a video game, they will mail it to you and u don’t even have to pay shipping!

You guys seriously need to take this stupid ass site down. Lockerz is obviously legit. this site is complete bs. i got my dsi, and a few amazon gift cards in past redemption sessions. Lockerz didn’t “hire” anyone for promotions or anything. Do u honestly know how much prizes have been redeemed and actually sent to the redeemers? THOUSANDS! Lockerz is a legit website, and this lockerz-scam.com site needs to be taken off the web.

  33. Tracy Said,

Guys, Lockerz isn’t really a scam! You just have to stick with it. I’m on it right now earning points on Play and i now have 882 ptz! I earned the 125ptz just now by watching videos, and all of them in less then 2 hours. Just try to stick with it.Obviously is not that simple to earn ptz but they do have to increase the prizes otherwise is just 2 easy! This website actually proved that they did received a ps3 from Lockerz. It might look like a scam because is on beta and is not officially launched yet. Even I though it was a scam but after all those videos on youtube of friends then yes, I just went on and i now have those ptz! Just stick with it guys. Stay bless

  35. Matthew Wright Said,

The argument so far has been that Lockerz.com is a website that does not deliver on its’ promises and that it is ‘fake’. This is statistically improbable considering an equal amount of posts citing ‘fraud’ as well as ‘successful redemption’. Anyone arguing that NOBODY has ever received anything from Lockerz needs to stop wasting their and everyone else’s time and focus on the real issue— Lockerz is a pyramid scheme designed to offer few rewards to the fewest individuals for maximum revenue. Some uneducated individuals on this site and other places have incorrectly argued that Lockerz ‘could not make money from just your e-mail address’. Obviously, these individuals have been living in a cave the past 30 years as computer viruses, hijackings, and mal-ware, and user information have all become quite profitable fields of business. I bet these are the same individuals who install ‘free’ spy-ware ‘cleaning’ utilities only to find that there are magically more spy-ware items to delete AFTER installation than before. Wow.. Amaaaazzing….. Bottom line: Your ignorance to what they’re doing with your time and efforts should not be the stopping point of any investigation. Any amount of research in past internet ‘free stuff’ programs will reveal that NO ONE does it without profiting somehow (either by survey companies, banner ads, government contracted information programs or most likely, credit card companies and trial offer programs). How is Lockerz able to offer all these prizes if they’re NOT making money? Wouldn’t it suffice to say that any explanation of this is far more difficult than arguing that they “couldn’t possibly” be making money off what you’re doing? Furthermore, it is not about a crappy website that doesn’t send it’s members all the stuff when it should, it’s about a small market savvy team of individuals who started a small shell company with an even smaller website (Personally, I could design Lockerz.com’s entire website in about a day flat, server side scripting and design) and used their previous multimedia connections to get the word out in an attempt to stir up some publicity. Think about it kids— If you get a penny from every person in the world, you’d be the richest person alive, now wouldn’t you? How many Lockerz members are there and how much do they truly NEED you to do to make a penny from you? Does the website need to be taken down? No. Are they scamming anyone? Depends on what your definition of a scam is and just how new to the internet you really are. Is what they’re doing morally wrong? Yes— and so is Paypal, but you’re still using them too aren’t you? It’s fun to dream that you’re going to get something for nothing, and that’s the same power that lours idiots into Las Vegas HOURLY to waste their hard earned money and leave with nothing but the memory of flashing lights and smell hotel rooms— except, in your cases, all you did was make the mistake of taking it too seriously. Anyone who thinks Lockerz is worth taking a day off of work or losing a single minute of sleep over, why not take a look at the large majority of individuals on eBay trying to unload their accounts with large point amounts? Why would they do that if it wasn’t so impossible to get a prize? Final thought: Lockerz is a business. You all are sheeple. Once again businesses designed around redistributing wealth and taking some off the top prosper, and the sheeple keep eating it up. Stop using Lockerz if you don’t like it. Just walk away. Note: For all the individuals who ordered something and never got it—- Lockerz can only benefit from losing your order, and not all pyramid schemes work so well, so take that as a hint that they can’t afford to give you anything right now and stop wasting any more of your much more worthwhile life on this retarded pyramid scheme. Also, to the owner of this site: “Copyright infringement is not intended” does not change the fact that it has occurred. Peace.

  36. Matthew Wright Said,

My sources: I have actually gotten an iPod by participating in freeipods.com back in the day and I’m an IT/Web developer of 10+ years experience. Lockerz.com’s entire business model is obvious to me and I could make a mirror site before sundown tomorrow. I purchased a Lockerz.com account on eBay to see what the fuss was all about (which I didn’t know at the time is actually against the Lockerz.com TOS) only to find out that you can’t redeem points when you want, and you can’t change the e-mail address of your account so the buyer can always just request a password reset and get his account back and because online delivered products such as accounts are not covered by eBay’s buyer protection, you’ll never get your money back regardless of what the previous owner of the account does. Beautiful, right? Seems like that’s the only way to actually profit from Lockerz.com— continuously selling and reselling the same points account to idiots. Stay away from this kind of transaction people— and also, Lockerz.com is not a ‘scam’ per se… but that doesn’t change the fact that it is a RIP OFF. I mean, you will statistically live for only like 80 years. Isn’t there a foreign language you could be learning or someone you could be helping in the time you’re making 5 Liberty Media “Corporation” owners richer? Newfags.

just think about it ps3s ipods wiis; they cost £100-£400 In real life so lockerz obviously is not going to make it easy for you to get points.if you want a console or whatever just go buy it! thats what i did.. i guess this site is for people who don’t have much money so they have to waste there whole life on lockerz.com. I don’t know if this site is real or not, but it sure is wasting your lifetime.. why dont you just go out and do something, and if you really want something save up or ask for it for xmas or birthday. Posted on April 23rd, 2010 at 11:34 pm

  42. Anonymiss Said,

I don’t believe lockerz is a scam at all, Think about how much this website makes just in adverts. Inviting people gives you points because it gives them money. They can afford to reward a lot of their members, just because you can’t redeem what you want there’s always next time, then you’ll have even more points and will be able to get something really nice or more items. People judge because they automatically assume that something good happening to people for simply watching videos and inviting others is a scam. Well it’s not it’s just finally a damn website giving back.

Posted on April 25th, 2010 at 6:19 pm

  43. .... Said,

Ok, I dont know about the prizes and some YouTube stuff on Lockerz is fake (Note: I said some. Others I don’t know…). As for my experience, I got a shirt and the PayPal cash from Lockerz. T-Shirt IS worthless considering that you can buy a pack of 5 for like 99 cents and just print out the logo and iron it on the shirts. I do’nt know about the electronics and sometimes I hate and like Lockerz but I managed to just move along and try again. I missed out on the Macbook twice because obviously they have like 2 total but whatever. This time I’m gonna try a PSP and if there’s time and luck, I’ll go for a game. If I manage to receive something from the Electronics section then I will post my proof.

In the meantime, if you hate Lockerz then either petition or get over it. If you love Lockerz, just post proof (if you have any of your own) to shut people up and just enjoy the site… ’nuff said?

  47. papanorth Said,

i’m beginning to think lockerz is pointless. if anything its a pyramid scheme. you send invites to friends and so on and so on. they advertise these products before you watch their videos so they get paid and for the lucky ones that are actually able to redeem their prizes get something. your chances of getting something is really small. in the end you get them rich and you get either get nothing or in most cases nothing since they don;t give out redemption dates

Posted on April 30th, 2010 at 2:04 pm

  48. T Said,

Oh gosh. People get their prizes from LOCKERZ for FREE. Some people only have to pay taxes because of the government, not because of LOCKERZ.

YouTube has more than hundreds of videos which has unboxings and you’d think LOCKERZ would waste money on every single YouTuber to promote their website? NO. You’re some dumb people.

I joined in Oct 2009 and I haven’t received ANYTHING that’s from random companies. If LOCKERZ is a scam, how comes Amazon and PAYPAL have allowed LOCKERZ to use them companies to pay for stuff in SHOP???

  50. KurtCocaine Said,

This funny, the only people that post here are the people that either have not given Lockerz a chance, and have never tried a redemption or are the ones that got screwed over and didn’t even bother to contact the company.

I redeemed and Xbox 360, after a month I never received it. I call the company, and asked about it, 2 weeks later I received my Xbox 360, no charge on anything. Nothing.
I live in Canada, so there shipment would usually cost me something but it did not.
But don’t worry because these ignorant people will tell you that I am paid, and that I am a lockerz member, even though I am not. These people are idiots and are just to lazy to take initiative. They take it out on lockerz because they think that really it takes too many points to get what they want. Cry me a river.

haha but here it comes “your paid” “Your wrong”. Okay, well while I enjoy my free Xbox 360 from lockerz, you can go out and pay for one.

  51. Death Said,

I’ve been on lockerz for 4 months now, and every single redemption I’ve redeemed something, like a psp or an ipod touch. They sent me an email every time saying that the order was cancelled because the item was so super popular right now that they don’t have it in stock, but i always get their on the site for the redemption at least a minute after they start the damn thing. I doubt that they ran out of the shit so fast in under a fucking minute. Never got a refund on any of the ptz i lost or any of the money i paid spent in SHOP! So to me lockerz is a scam and i can’t believe i fell for it.
