LOCKERZ is a SCAM

Debunk the scam site Lockerz

Who are you?

I am ZDoctor. I created Lockerz-Scam. I have been waiting for you. You have many questions, and although the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably ignorant. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also irrelevant.

Is Lockerz a Scam?

Lockerz is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of GPT Sites. It is the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden to sedulously avoid it, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.

That may be true, Demets…. except for the fact that the site is in beta, which is made very clear to current members. Lockerz claims that when (if) the site goes live there will be no “redemptions” – items will be much more expensive in terms of PTZ but you will be able to spend them anytime that you want. If that time comes and members are still unable to obtain their prizes, then you might have a criminal case.

(Mods, please note the lack of fanboi-ing, just stating the facts as they exist.)

I was a member of lockerz for the longest time even before the first redemption… i have saved up allot of pointz and have been through every redemption. And honestly everyone was a disaster. Every time i got in which was right as it opened literally no prizes but digital downloads such as wallpapers where available. I have lost my faith in Lockerz and i am starting to believe it is fake. And if the site honestly truly is a fake i think we all need to uncover them for what they really are. we waste our time logging in and and giving them feedback and marketing wile were promised something in return. only to wait for that day to come and be giving the link to log in and nothing is there. It is bull crap and trust me this is coming from a loyal lockerz member.

  2. Demets Said,

At firs glance, it indeed looks like Lokcerz is a well organized scam, as only a very very small amount of the (five??) millions of members are being entitled to redeem there points. From a legal point of view, these points are equivalent to money. Intentionally attracting people to build points( equivalent to money) while knowingly ensuring that the very large majority of members are not able to redeem their points, may consitute a criminal offence. Lockerz may have elements of a wordlwide scam and we suppose that national and international police and computer crime forces will investigate Lockerz and its staff to decided if they have breached criminal law, both in the US and other countries.

well because of there TOS and the fact that they are a LLC prevents them from prosecution…plus because of the TOS and that they are based in the US they are not breaking laws in other countries either..

  5. sam Said,

I got a videogame from them and a $50 Amazon GC so, its not a scam, hard to get stuff, but not a scam. Plus you dont give them any vital info besides address, seems like its some sort of company getting information about what young people are interested in.

  6. Zgore Said,

Hard to get stuff but not a scam? But they deceived members into thinking they will get a prize….which is not true as most members have not gotten a prize…..therefore lockerz is a scam because they rely on deception to make money.

    @Zgore

this logic of yours is flawed.

First, it cannot be called a scam since usage of the term involves banking information or money. Lockerz uses NEITHER.You do not have to give up address info or credit card numbers, those are optional when you achieve Z-list status which is earned tru emailing invites, NO REFERALS!!

Decieving… seriously??? I actually HAD friends earn prizes. This IS a rather small group, so it cannot get so many of this or that at a time in contrast to the amount of members. So not recieving a prize means you are either out of luck or plain lazy.

And finally, advertising is the ONLY diect form of making profits, despite what you are trying to prove. Some are interactive, but NONE are linked.

  8. as Said,

To Don: the time was indeed extended. It was said that Lockerz will fully launch on 2009 late winter, but it still is in beta after half a year…

  9. LTV Said,

After being a faithful member for over a year, I was able to buy something on SHOP. It did arrive in a couple weeks. So, as of now, the site DOES give out prizes. However, it is how a person gets the prizes. Getting a prize in the PTZpalace is reserved for the lucky few who just so happen to show up during the time of the redeemption, but with SHOP, LockerZ has now been able to ensure that everyone can use their PTZ for prizes.
