Who are you?
I am ZDoctor. I created Lockerz-Scam. I have been waiting for you. You have many questions, and although the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably ignorant. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also irrelevant.
Is Lockerz a Scam?
Lockerz is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of GPT Sites. It is the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden to sedulously avoid it, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.
Great post, very informative and very true. No other prize site has something like this.

Sad if people would actully stoop so low to kill others for stupid prizes.
Posted on February 5th, 2010 at 10:35 am
Lockerz knows that the redemption being so difficult to get what you want after spending months gathering ptz that people might resort to killing each other….and they don’t do anything to change that, all they do is make a disclaimer….as a matter of fact I don’t think it was in the original TOS….so if it was not then technically I did not agree it that term.
Posted on February 5th, 2010 at 3:59 pm
You have a point, but I think that is too much. I mean, no normal type of person will kill for a free PS3. Really. But there is something within that term, I’ve checked other sites like swagbucks and points2shop and there is no such a direct line.
Posted on February 7th, 2010 at 2:34 pm
I know it’s a pain, but you are completely right!
Posted on February 7th, 2010 at 4:19 pm
“We have the right to change our terms of service at any time”
Posted on February 9th, 2010 at 2:44 am
They had to do this because people were threatening to kill themselves/others/pets. They had no choice but to add this in so if some IDIOT followed through with the threat, lockerz couldn’t be held responsible
@ zgore. I’m not sure if lockerz has this in their TOS, but most sites have something like “continuing to use our site agrees to changed TOS. Once again, I am just asuming.

I killed my brother for his prize
Posted on February 10th, 2010 at 8:33 am
people killing themselves to have a better chance of getting prize
Posted on February 15th, 2010 at 1:23 pm
I think lockerz new way to redeem should include a fishing rod with a prize attached to it hovering to members heads and they fight to the death to get it
why not use this instead of trying to kill us by waiting and having to stop our lived sober can go on to a site that will have prizes sold out on the site within seconds of going on
why? Simple PEOPLE ARE GREEDY PIGS
Posted on February 17th, 2010 at 5:46 am
Lockerz is an online site, do they even have a store? I doubt it
but yeah I agree with Nick, PEOPLE ARE TO DARN GREEDY if they kill someone, it’s their fault and not lockerz
Posted on February 17th, 2010 at 8:37 pm
ya its there fault but the point is to show that lockerz redemptions are usually horrible and lots of people don’t get anything…..this term was added when they changed the layout and after the redemptions keep getting worse
Posted on February 19th, 2010 at 9:30 pm
Dude youre so fucking right about that,I cant stop laughing… Every single redemption
needs a whole day or a whole week, trying to get your points to work and Lockerz know that
people are really trying hard to get something that it may even lost there lives waiting on it,,,
lockerz probably saying poor lockerz member trying so hard for just a couple of goods..
I am a lockerz member for three months now and Ive been trying so hard to get my dream price
you dont know what Ive been trough. I can see myself on one of that people….WTF….
Posted on February 20th, 2010 at 4:10 am
You realise that people will kill someone over anything, right? I play video games, online video games are apart of that equation. There are a disturbingly large number of players who WILL and HAVE hunted down people and KILLED THEM because they were scammed, robbed of their loot or just because they felt wronged in any way.
You’ll notice that a similar term is in pretty much every thing like this. It’s not just Lockerz who put it in their terms. Dear god the ignorance of this site is astounding.
Posted on February 25th, 2010 at 10:53 pm
well did you read other prizes sites TOS??? i did and yes they have a similar rule but nothing as specific as this is…swagbucks says they are not liable for any damages caused from using there site…lockerz not only says that but has a separate term aimed directly at redeeming ptz and out of all the terms regarding redeeming ptz it has the largest font….
Posted on February 27th, 2010 at 12:12 pm
Really, I am frustrated over my PTZ at Lockerz but Jesus, would I kill, or harm myself. GET A LIFE. It or they are not that important. Really, who cares what they say or claim or disclaim, I saw they were a scam since week one and yet I still keep going back and earning PTZ. Hoping that one day I will get to use them but you know what, who really cares. It takes a minute of my day and if that is one less minute I am bored then so be it.
Posted on March 5th, 2010 at 12:41 am
i have been a member and have missed there has only been two redemptions since i joined and i missed them both. this is the worst thing ever
Posted on March 5th, 2010 at 4:52 pm
You think lockerz is a scam because they’re trying to not get sued. Every site that gives anything out for free has the same terms, almost verbatim. How is that suspicious that they put that that? “You also agree that you will not use these products for any purposes prohibited by the united states law, including, without limitation, the development, design, manufacture, or production of missiles, or nuclear, chemical or biological weapons”- Itunes EULA. Is there any chance that any human being can think of a way to use Itunes to create a WMD? Other than being inspired by a song to do so; doubtful; but do you know why they put it in there? Because if someone SOMEHOW finds a way to, they don’t want to be to blame. If someone, with the astronomical chance that it could happen, gets killed in a way linked to redeeming a prize, then they don’t want to be sued.
Oh yeah, and my brother got Modern Warfare 2 from the site; and when I get up enough points to get my Ipod touch 32GB, I’ll make damn sure you are informed.

“when I get up enough points to get my Ipod touch 32GB, I’ll make damn sure you are informed.” are you thinking when you get the ptz you can get the prize no problem??? of wait…that’s right lockerz has DECEIVED you into thinking so…..that is pretty deceptive,,,,,and they are a operation….deceptive operation…isn’t that a scam according to the merriam-webster dictionary a fraudulent or a DECEPTIVE act or OPERATION…..hmm maybe that’s why we call it a scam
Posted on March 7th, 2010 at 1:07 pm
I HAD 406 PTZ AND I WANTED IPOD TOUCH FOR 325 PTZ
BUT LOCKERZ RAISED THE PRICE AND NOW IT COSTS 1300 PTZ.
Posted on March 28th, 2010 at 3:57 pm
really it doesn’t matter because chances are you would never get the ipod touch as it was one of the highest demand items….but funny fact that ipod touch is 1300ptz and a aluminum sports bottle is also 1300ptz,,,,
Posted on March 29th, 2010 at 11:18 am
really?? people kill each other for this?? go work at mcdonald’s and buy a psp..haha but really?? Has anyone won anything yet?? if so, let me know because i was thinking of trying. plus, people in america/west coast have a harder time redeeming because of a completely diferant time zone.
-thanks

Metallica has a song named “Suicide and Redemption”.
Posted on April 13th, 2010 at 7:10 am
I think what they mean by this, is that if you do something stupid like eat or choke by chewing something small lockerz sells, or something happens like you get electrified by a cable or something that lockerz is not responsible.
Posted on April 14th, 2010 at 6:52 pm
it also includes that as well…this was added right after redemption’s started getting worse
Posted on April 15th, 2010 at 11:35 am
Anyone who goes to this site needs to get a life.
I’m just sayin’.
Posted on April 15th, 2010 at 10:46 pm
ya bob….GET A LIFE….or was it magic how your comment got on this site…..one can spend a life on a site…and one can have a life and spend time on this site….I have friends, play games with friends, go to movie with friends, work full time, got to college full-time and go to this site among many other things..for one to “get a life” does that mean they can not use the internet or express there beliefs in there free time? if so a Life seems like it would suck..

Zgore, I completely agree with you. Your grammar could use a little work though, it’s a bit counter-productive when you are correcting someone and your comment is full of grammatical errors.
To get back on the subject; what is the chance (Just a rough guess would be nice) that I will get my desired prize (A Wii) on redemption day (assuming I am on at exactly the right time [I know it's a stretch but we'll assume this much for accuracy's sake])?
Any estimate at all would be helpful.
Posted on April 20th, 2010 at 11:28 pm
well if we assume lockerz has 6 million members and 5 thousand prizes then you have about 0,08% chance of redeeming
if we assume lockerz has 6 million members and 10,000 prizes then you have about 0,16% chance of redeeming
if we assume lockerz has 6 million members and 100,000 prizes then you have about 1.67% chance of redeeming
if we assume lockerz has 6 million members and 1,000,000 prizes then you have about 16.67% chance of redeeming
now lockerz has claimed thousands and thousands…but odds are not even in your favor if they had a million prizes.
Posted on April 26th, 2010 at 11:21 pm
Come on, man… that’s far too much. Who would go over the trouble to stalk someone else until they get their prize? (assuming they know their address, appearance and even the fact that they’ve redeemed something)
And claiming that this site can kill people is a very paranoid accusation. If someone is so mad to stay endlessly, day and night on an internet site and die because of overexhaustion, then they are too stupid for this world. People who do this aren’t sane and would get themselves killed anyway. Get a life, man! You are simply unhappy that you couldn’t get a prize on lockerz. Neither did I. But I don’t build a whole site to let the world know about it! It’s not their fault you couldn’t redeem anything!
Oh, and I know I will be mass-criticized after I post this. Go on, criticize me. But take a look at how paranoid this article is! Reflect a little about this too…

were is the proof
?????????????
Posted on May 16th, 2010 at 1:37 am
proof of what?…..the statement is on lockerz.com/terms in case you didn’t read…what other proof do you need
Posted on May 19th, 2010 at 1:36 am
You are all just a bunch of cry babies who are just upset because you haven’t redeemed anything on Lockerz or haven’t even tried to redeem anything and u want to complain…I know at least 4 ppl (2 friends, I family member, and a friend of a friend) who redeemed something( ps3 bundle, headphones, dvd, and an ipod shuffle) so I trust this site and if I don’t redeem, oh well, I didn’t waste my life away on the website, only a few min a day and I have 3000+ points). All i’m saying is that u can have a life, make real money and still participate in something like this…sheesh
