no 24/7 PTZplace?
On May - 19 - 2010
Well from a picture of a email i just recently saw…We just caught lockerz in a lie….Lots of people were staying in hopes of a 24/7 redemption in ptz place….but according to one email they never said they would and they are not going to have a 24/7 ptz place….
here is a pic of the email Email denying 24/7
but here is the lie….that email is from may….but a email I got is from april….and it says there will be a 24/7 ptz place..no hidden wording or hinting..they straight up said there would prizes in ptz place 24/7
here is a pic of my email Email supporting 24/7
so lockerz….which one is it?

wow someone obviously cant read.
in the second email supporting 24/7, it SAYS….: BY THE END OF THE YEAR, once the FULL SITE IS LAUNCHED, we’ll have a selection of prizes available at PTZ place 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
*note* read words in caps
this means the site is still in beta stage and will not offer 24/7 PTZ place at the moment. i don’t mean to be rude but god not that hard to read, guess you was too busy trying to catch them scamming or lieing you didn’t read it thoroughly

lol someone obviously can’t read…in the first email…it said there is not going to be a 24/7 PTZ place..that they never said anything about it…and it was misconstrued by members to mean 24/7 PTZ place…when they meant you could redeem PTZ 24/7 in shop…..if you read a little more you would have seen the dates..the one denying 24/7 is after the one supporting it….
In case you couldn’t comprehend with what little you read…the first email said there would not be a 24/7 ptz place..not that it won’t happen till the end of the year…if it was going to happen then wouldn’t lockerz reassure the member that it would happen sometime by the end of 2010??…no they just straight up deny a 24/7 ptz place because by telling them what they have been waiting for is not true really makes them want to stay right??
now again you mentioned by the end of the year…..what happened to early 2010…oh ya they faked a launch AGAIN………..

Wouldn’t you be smart enough to know why they probably cancelled the 24/7 PTZ Place…it would still be the same as any other redemption, people would go buy, then everything would be out…and then later they would say they restocked, and everything would be gone once more, I would think you guys would shut up after they released shop, but you guys keep bitching. Aslo, if you think shop is a scam, there’s once word there that kills all that you think about it: Guarantee. My sister bought a Baggu from their Lockerz Shop system, and it arrived in less than a week, that doesn’t sound like a scam to me >.>

Dude, this is
1. Awesome
2. Something you file to the BBB because it actually is VERY illegal to say one thing and then change your mind on the customer. I see the only misconstrued statement was the LIES of lockerz saying that they MEANT to say PTZ were 24/7 at shop.

Beam we never said lockerz shop is a scam…but basically all the good prizes are too expensive to actually get…especially with the one year rule on z-list double ptz and your ptz…(after one year you lose double ptz from z-list and you will lose ptz on a monthly rolling basis)….plus since they lied about 24/7 ptz place…they are still a scam….and you sister got the baggu because she “BOUGHT” it……why didn’t she get a xbox or game..oh wait because there almost impossible to get 100% off….the members of lockerz joined because they were told they were going to get free prizes…not buy them

To add on to what Zgore said, go look at their pricing scheme for stuff. The most desirable prizes are undoubtedly the games (and consoles but no one can EVER afford them). Lockerz knows this, and are definitely cashing in on it. A game at $59.99 is 4997 PTZ to get free. Go to another section like the Jules Smith category (Jewelry). An $84.00 is 2489 PTZ and a $96.00 item is 3462. Hell, a Miley cuff is priced at $165.00 yet it costs less than 900 PTZ to get. A less desired prize at lower PTZ values. Therefore it is logical that your sister could afford a Baggu bag (didn’t even know bags had their own brand…) under Lockerz’s messed up prize system.
Concerning why they shipped it. It’s because SHOP is what it’s name describes. A SHOP! If I go to a store and purchase an item, whether it be by cash/credit/giftcard, I am going to get that item because it is a “SHOP”. Redemption is not a SHOP!! Redemption is like a very restricted lottery. SHOP is designed and advertised as a place where you can get either 100% discount/no discount/partial discount. It is by no means ever advertised as a place where you will NEVER spend any money. Yet redemption is hung in front of newcomers as a marketing ploy where they trick people into joining with the presumption of getting a prize if they get enough points. Redemption system is a lottery by design but promoted in a fashion that sounds similar to SHOP. Therein lies the problem. By promoting a redemption, where it’s system is clearly not the same as SHOP, as a storefront where you can simply “turn around and redeem your PTZ” is a bait and switch. Bait and switches are a form of fraud and deception which leads to the profit from deceit. Thereby defining the word SCAM.
That and prior to modifying their FAQ page, they never once mentioned REDEMPTION, leading every newcomer to believe that you could simply get a prize by going to a page similar to PTZ Place at any point in time to redeem your prize.

YOU have got to chill
did you really expect to get something free just like that?I know that’s what they promised but lies are a dime a dozen
stop bitching
get off lockerz
and move on
it’s not that big of a deal

Lockerz doesn’t make a 24/7 redemption because they earn more money this way. That’s it. Also, the whole “not fully launched” thing is just a hoax – they abuse that to gain more popularity. Almost everything they claim is lied.

I don’t think Lockerz is a real scam but i do think they could upgrade their customer services. Because they make a lot of money on us(the clients) but if we ask something we get a robot that gives a answer that’s totally irrellevant to my question. So they do treat us crappy but I dont think its a scam

After reading this, I emailed Kathy Savitt (Lockerz CEO) and asked her about PTZ Place. Here’s the email I sent her:
“Hi Kathy,
Will PTZ Place ever be open 24/7? I’ve heard all sorts of different accounts concerning this issue. Please take pity on those of us with slow computers!
Thanks,
[my name]”
She responded:
“It’s our goal, and SHOP is the first step in that evolution:-)”
So maybe there’s hope?

“WHEN WILL LOCKERZ LAUNCH?
Lockerz is launching in stages. PTZ Place, Lockerz’ Prize Redemption Center, is now live. Other components will be launched soon. The complete site will be launched in early 2010.”
Funny how it’s mid way 2010 and it’s still in beta…

[...] pretty short lived. http://lockerz-scam.com/ insists Lockerz is a scam. Often cited as a reason is the lack of a “24/7 PTZ Place”, where you can redeem PTZ 24/7. Zgore thinks that this is a necessary feature of Lockerz. However, [...]

As much as I dislike Lockerz and how they seem to prey on teenage stupidity, it seems pretty obvious to me that something along the lines of Shop was always going to be the “24/7 Ptz Place”. They probably just hadn’t finalized everything and were maybe thinking it might REPLACE the monthly redemption system instead of being an additional feature.
As far as misleading Lockerz users, yes there’s no question that they do in fact do in fact take advantage of millions of naive users, but it’s all deceptive in a *marketing* way, not in an outright scamming way.
It’s like those movie ads that quote all those glowering reviews and show footage of audience members praising the movie as they leave the theater. Sure, they might be “deceptive” ads, but that doesn’t mean it’s false advertising or whatever.

Well according to their latest update thing on the main page, there apparently really IS going to be a 24/7 Ptz place.
What I have no clue about is how it’s going to be any different from Shop, because they can’t possibly give out items for the low ptz-level they do in the current redemptions AND have them in constant supply, or else they’d go bankrupt in like 2 hours. So since they’ll presumably mark the Ptz prices way up, how exactly would it be any different from trying to get 100% off in Shop?

Alright you bitching little douches, its time to clear things up. First, there IS a 24/7 redemption and its called, 24/7 or auction. So you should probably stop bitching about not getting free stuff.
