I am ZDoctor. I created Lockerz-Scam. I have been waiting for you. You have many questions, and although the process has altered your consciousness, you remain irrevocably ignorant. Ergo, some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concordantly, while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also irrelevant.
Is Lockerz a Scam?
Lockerz is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of GPT Sites. It is the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden to sedulously avoid it, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.
Is Lockerz A Scam?
We get this question asked a lot in the chat so I wrote up a textwall that puts together the arguments made by us at Lockerz-Scam. This wall will likely be updated every time a new argument pops up.

Firstly, why is the word scam used? Scam is defined as profit from deceit; a deceitful or fraudulent act. Lockerz profits off of the users by advertisement views, profit margins from SHOP, and selling your opinions from Dailies to companies and marketing groups. By watching the advertisement prior to a Lockerz video, the advertisement company logs the watch and for every thousand or ten thousand views, Lockerz gets paid. By selling items like a PS3 from SHOP, Lockerz makes a profit because they do NOT pay $300 to SONY for the PS3 to resell. They make a profit off you just like normal stores like Best Buy or Walmart. The Dailies are sold to companies, most likely in bulk, to get an idea what will be the new fashion, what is Hot and Not, so they know how to market directly to teens. The teenage population is huge at this point and if advertisement companies know what items to promote, the larger the profits will be for the company they represent. We do the dailies, we watch the videos and Lockerz gets the payment. This covers the profit part of the definition. Deception comes next.

When you first joined, you most likely heard or read about Lockerz’s easy redemption and they used the phrase “turn around and redeem your PTZ for incredible merchandise, unique experiences and exclusive deals and sales” to hook you into joining. Never did it mention anything about what a redemption was, how it was only monthly, and how you had a near 0% chance of redeeming a prize. Lockerz made themselves sound like a company that had a redemption system similar to the way SHOP works now. The majority of users on Lockerz thought it was just simply point and click on the prize you wanted and could be done at your leisure. No one was expecting to be forced into competition against every Lockerz user just to get a CHANCE at a prize. Lockerz made themselves out to be an easy redeeming site where things could be easily yours at a chance of 100%. It’s not until you join and spend 2 or 4 weeks where you learn how awful redemptions are and how your chances dropped from 100% to near 0%. However, in the span of the 2 or 4 weeks, chances are all the videos have been watched and dailies been answered. Since your chance of getting a prize is already exponentially low, they don’t have to worry about losing money because there’s a good chance you already quit by the time you endured 2 redemptions. They already profited off you so now they could care less. Thereby profit from deceit. Furthermore, PTZ expire 1 year after they are issued on a monthly basis. It’s very likely that unless you cave and buy from SHOP, your PTZ will disappear before you redeem. Also notice how no other site that offers prizes for doing services has expirations. Lockerz is the only site that has expiry dates on earned site currency.

Going on about how they could care less about you, try sending e-mails to customer service. 3 of them came back as generic computer generated e-mails and 2 went unanswered. I e-mailed Kathy questions on Lockerz’s work ethic and views on users and I have not gotten a response. I resent it twice and still nothing. I think she blocked me. There are many cases so far about how people are getting shafted at Lockerz. Many people are saying they were accused of cheating when they bought from SHOP or their SHOP bought item went Out Of Stock so they will get refunds on both PTZ and money. So far, I have no reports on any refunds, all still pending.

One thing in SHOP that seems to be happening a lot are You Cheated e-mails. Almost every person who has attempted to buy a game using PTZ alone that comes onto this site has told me about getting their PTZ removed and getting a You Cheated letter. Of course this has a bias due to people getting prizes would not come here. However, the point remains that there is an unnatural amount of You Cheated letters going around.

Continuing on about cheating, if you read the Terms Of Service, they can deem any suspicious behaviour as cheating. They do not need any hard evidence about it. If they even suspect you have done anything wrong, regardless of it’s true or not, you can get your prize revoked and punished. Basically, Lockerz can say everyone at this redemption cheated and everyone loses their PTZ and their prize. They make the rules and they can do anything they want.

When they do redemptions, very few people redeem. Otherwise redemptions would last longer than 1 minute. Starting from March of 2010, they declined in the amount of users, from an average of 600,000 to 370,000. Lockerz is losing its members due to poor business habits and terrible customer (user) relations. In fact, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), gave Lockerz an F. For those that do not know, BBB is an organization that rates the customer-business relations and every large chain company is listed. Anyone who does well by the BBB is generally a company that takes care of customer problems and listens. Now back to losing members. Lockerz has effectively lost over 200,000 active users yet they still have 1 minute redemptions. Anyone see the problem? You have fewer members than before yet all prizes are still gone at the same rate? That just means that there were far less prizes than we expected. If you decrease one variable and the result is the same, that means that either
1. You have not reached the equilibrium point where prizes last longer than 5 minutes.
2. Lockerz is decreasing the amounts of prizes as they lose members.
3. Lockerz has less than the expected thousands of prizes we were all led to believe.

Even after they redeem, people must pray they don’t get the infamous “We Sold Out” e-mail where they say, “Yea you were fast, but you still weren’t fast enough so we sold out before you finished. You got the confirmation but now we revoke it from you. Have a nice day.” That is complimentary to their cheater rule and is justified by their Terms of Service. The fact that they can even do this, even if they are legally covered, shows poor business relations.

A Z-list shirt? Wow congrats for falling for a marketing ploy. By them sending you a shirt, you will now go parading around in it and saying “Lockerz is legit. I got a shirt.” They could be completely a scam and people would fall for it now that there are people going around saying “No, it’s completely real because I got a shirt”. Not only does it prove a false legitimacy, it is an advertising ploy because now people who never would have joined or heard about Lockerz would now join because of you, allowing Lockerz to gain more profits. They even removed the Z-list shirt now because they probably do not want to set up a budget to allow Lockerz members to get more $2 shirts. They already peaked back in ‘09 so they have no need to promote Lockerz further. Most people who wanted to join already have and those who refuse to will not change their minds after all this negative criticism. They’re now being cheaper by not even offering a tangible item. From what I hear, Z-listers get an E-Survival Pack with a Lockerz Desktop. Just what we wanted, an ugly purple background.

There are arguments that Lockerz is still in beta and how it will get better. Newsflash guys. Lockerz has been up for 1 year and 3 months now. Every month since the launch of PLAY, they have been seeing profits from your video views. You’d think that since now videos are helping fund Lockerz, that the prize budgets would increase and that redemption time would last longer. Well, obviously it hasn’t otherwise redemptions would last longer than a minute. Prizes that were less top tier like NDS or WII games would last longer than 1 minute. For 15 straight months, they have NOT had a redemption where top prizes have lasted longer than the normal 1 minute. I know that Lockerz was nice back in the first month or two before they went mass public advertising. I heard of many good things back then. Since it gained popularity, the prize ratio seemed to slip into 1:1000000. It’s clear that Lockerz cannot give away prizes as much as they promised and that’s why we are seeing so many people getting their prizes revoked even after a successful redemption.

Finally, I’m hitting Lockerz’s FaceBook. Notice how your negative posts get deleted? Lockerz censors constructive criticisms, complaints, and any negative feedback in general. The Labs end up answering air because of all the deletion that goes on. To liken this to real life, it’s similar to Communism or the Black Oppression except with less violence. In American history, the government (White Man) would oppress the slaves (Black Man) and refuse free speech, although it was against the first amendment. Lockerz does the same. They allow you to post but short of 3 minutes, your post will be gone and you will be banned. Zgore has posted several times, some offensive, many not, and each of them were taken down and he was banned on every account made. Lockerz works like a communist party without governmental power.

So most of you might be thinking, “Hey quit whining, it’s free!”
I complain that Lockerz redemption sucks. If they make money off me, I think I have a damn right to come out and complain and say “Hey, why do you see profits while I do services on your site and see no tangible results of my own? Why am I forced to go in competition on a blind date to even get a shot at seeing the results of my labour?” Granted getting PTZ is like getting dust in an unclean room, it just piles and piles. The point is, we have these stacks of PTZ and nothing to spend it on. I have enough for 99% of the stuff in PTZ Place and yet I can’t even get a single game on SHOP? Lockerz continues to see profits that if invested properly, could possibly fix PTZ Place itself and allow for a smooth redemption yet after 1 year and 3 months, we are still seeing 1 minute redemptions. It is quite obvious at this point that they don’t try to fix these when they can make you buy their overpriced crap at SHOP, especially since PTZ expirations are coming up.

Another thing I hear a lot is “STFU IDIOTS!!! MY FRIEND/PERSON ON YOUTUBE/I GOT A PRIZE FROM LOCKERZ!!!! IT’S NOT A SCAM!”
I never said that they don’t give prizes. They do but the question is how many? Lockerz has advertised themselves as a 100% chance redeem site but through experience, every user can undeniably say that it is not true. They do give out prizes. The catch is, the amount of prizes is nowhere near suitable for the amount of active users on the site. Youtube has say 350 or so un-boxing videos and another 22,000 invite videos. The amount of un-boxing videos might not be a large chunk of the population of people who got prizes but Lockerz has been open for a year and 3 months now. You’d expect the number to exceed 1000 if they truly did give away as many prizes as they lead on. People who scream out so-and-so got a prize does not help the situation. Lockerz does not give out more prizes than they need to. If they needed a minimum of 100 prizes to be given out to keep up hype, they’d do so. If it were 1 prize, they’d only give out 1 prize. By you guys spreading person X got a prize, you are spreading around the message that Lockerz is easy where it clearly is not. Redemptions aren’t done to satisfy you. They are done to keep you believing that you will get a prize. They are done to keep up word-of-mouth advertising. There is no better publicity than positive reviews from a friend. If a friend vouches for Lockerz, the person is more likely to join and therefore Lockerz earns more profits while being able to NOT increase prize totals. Lockerz will continue to be a scam until they have made their system work like they had sold it to us: An easy to earn and redeem site.

For all of you who seem to think I or any other writers on the site get a financial gain, think again. There are no advertisements on this site, except the ones built into WordPress which are impossible to remove. Since 2010 started, no one has attempted to recruit other sites or defer you guys to a site that might be in our best interest. I have yet to see any recent articles with a referal link. We don’t make any proits nor do we try to get you off Lockerz so there will be less people. Lockerz is already doing a good job at losing users. I’m simply here to lay down what Lockerz is, what Lockerz has done, and what Lockerz doesn’t want you to know. The site offers a rebellious voice against the opressing Lockerz company and allows new members or soon-to-be new members to know what they are getting into. This site is simply a forum where people can find out what Lockerz does to its users and allows you the opportunity to speak your mind.

I don’t have much to say, just that I’ve been with Lockerz since November-December, participated in every redemption but never got a single thing. And after a few minutes everything is ALWAYS gone, because they don’t have enough prizes, except for the friggin wallpaper, I mean wtf… They probably have like <1000 items(excluding the wallpaper) for the few million members… So it's not like they were lying to us, but you got to be there the moment it starts….
The funny thing is that after each redemption, a lot members get disappointed and spam their facebook page with negative comments such as "omygawddd, I camped infront of my computer all day, refreshing every 2 seconds Lockerz, for the past few days and then I had the urge to shit, and after a quick trip to the toilet, everything was gonnneeeeee, whyyyy" and the next day, all those comments were deleted to make the facebook page of Lockerz all clean

In all the other sites, their form of currency isn’t so easy to earn. This is a main reason that the other sites can provide what they promise. That is the reason they can afford to give away the prizes and money to users. Because Lockerz gives away PTZ so easily, the value of PTZ keeps decreasing. Everyone can easily earn enough to afford anything or almost anything in PTZ Place. If everyone can afford anything, then wouldn’t competition on decent-premium prizes be increased? That leads to the issues we all have with those 1 minute redemptions. Few prizes + everyone can afford everything = everything gone in seconds.
There isn’t a forced competition between every member. Instead, it is on you to just earn enough to get a prize and then you simply redeem, no strings attached. However, in the case of Lockerz, we were advertised to as a site that is similar to all the other GPT sites. Similar in the form of easy rewarding methods where you could simply redeem. It’s obvious after the first redemption that that scenario is never the case on Lockerz. All the other money websites allow you to redeem at your leisure, Lockerz forces competition down your throats or else you get no prizes.

Dude, your completely wrong. First of all, those you cheated letters are legit. More than 25% of lockerz users actually do cheat. In addition, redemptions do not last one minute, there are three redemptions each lasting at least one hour, and you can find a countdown clock on google, where the redemption time is posted. Finally, the expiration date poses no problem to lockerz users. I have had an account for a month, and have already managed to earn 4,000 ptz. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.

No dude get your facts straight.
I was claimed to have cheated twice. Apparently I’m on my 3rd chance. Any explanation as to how I cheated? No. Did I make mass invites? No. Did I abuse a bug? No. Lockerz users do cheat but there are people who do not that also get the You Cheated letters.
3 redemptions? No. Depending on the month, you can get 1, 2, 3, or 4 redemptions. Usually 2 and 1 of them is generally made for people who do more for Lockerz such as paying them money as is with the June redemption.
You miss the point of the 1 minute redemption remark. Redemptions last 1 and a half hours. We call it 1 minute redemptions because all the good prizes are gone in the first minute. Have you seen an iPod last the whole redemption? Have you seen anything other than wallpapers last more than 10 minutes? I haven’t and I’ve been to almost all the redemptions this year. If the prizes lasted the whole hour, we wouldn’t call it 1 minute/lightning redemptions. Since they last 1 minute out of the total time, we call it 1 minute redemptions.
PTZ expiring is no problem huh… Come back after 11 more months and see how many PTZ you use. Many of us haven’t been able to use PTZ towards any prizes because they are sold out so damn fast. The year has already ended for many veteran users and it’ll end for a lot more in a couple months. They can’t use it because they don’t have any chance to redeem a prize due to Lockerz’s shitty redemption system. How about you get your own facts straight.

Lockerz is indeed not a scam, although it is very very difficult to get a prize. there are tons of videos of people un-boxing things and i my self have recieved a prize. True all the good prizes are gone in a few seconds of begining (which is almost everything but wallpapers) which is what makes lockerz legit. they’d be broke if they had a 24/7 redemption unless they had a variety of adds on the videos and daily’s 5 times a day.

If it’s impossible to do (in which I agree with you) why advertise yourself as a company that can do it? They make themselves sound like this is a feasible task when in reality, it is not and they cannot possibly do it. Why start off customer-company relationships with a lie? Why can’t they just put in “You get a chance at redeeming prizes during a redemption.” instead of “Turn around and redeem your PTZ for prizes.” They both portray the same end result but one is truthful while the other is a lie. I’ll say this, if they used the first phrase instead of the latter, there would be no argument whatsoever. They would be advertising and implying you can get prizes, not you will easily get prizes.

@Jake, congrats on falling victim to informal fallacy. Let’s try it with another company. I am the VP in charge of Marketing at Coca Cola. I start up a new scam company. This new scam company must be legitimate because I am a VP at Coca Cola.

@Miguel, We are working for it. We gave them money by doing things on their site. Whether it is a lot or not, we deserve to be rewarded. $10, $20, etc. Anything would be better than getting $0 for letting them make money off you. Not everyone has to go for a big ticket item. Cash prizes could be left open for a long time as there is no out of stock on money. The issue is that they run out of every prize and refuse to let everyone see reward for their work.

SHOP is not international yet. I haven’t even heard about a release window of when SHOP spreads it’s infection globally. Even if it did, we’d likely still see the same amount of cancelled orders. Maybe even more.

Ok… so you say. Purportedly, Lockerz had 6+ million people on their site at their peak. After that, we are now down to 300k. Yea, I don’t see the big chunk of people that stayed. I just see a huge difference in people since their peak and their current member amount. Congrats on being fooled into thinking that they can keep members.
@Andy, apparently, back in 2009, Lockerz tried to shut down this site. They failed in doing so as you can see. Ever since, they haven’t contacted us formally but we suspect half the trolls in the chat are Lockerz employees or LAB members. I invite any high level Lockerz employee to contact me. I would love an interview with them, mainly Kathy, so we can clear the air, allow them to rebuttal our points and allow them to shed let on why Lockerz fails on a monthly basis. Maybe we can work out some sort of agreement where we can see Lockerz as a non-scamming company.
I’m on my 3rd chance and they refuse to tell me how I cheated. How can you fix cheating if you don’t know how you cheated in the first place? Love their logic.

Thanks for the site. I knew the low chances of redemption and has been trying to convince my lil bro to just stop going to the site. He too got a t shirt and thought it was legit
I feel so bad for him. He’s spent months collecting points and trying to make redemptions. He still holds on to the false hope that he can get himself an iPod. I can’t convince him it’s a scam.
What really pissed me off is when I asked him about the redemption system. I think last months was to pay 1000 point to be qualifies for redemption. From what he tells me, 1000 point seems pretty hard to get and he’s been saving for this moment just to toss away weeks of point collecting to lose all the prizes in 1 minute.
Weeks lost, 1000 point gone, and got nothing out of it. I can’t express how much I despise this company. I just hope my lil bro realize this soon

Hey, I’m a member of lockerz.com. so far, Ive spend a couple weeks racking up about 8,000 ptz. enough to redeem whatever i want in the upcoming redemption. Ive been chilling here for 4 days waiting for the redemption, and still no luck. even called in sick 2 days of work. I did however use my ptz ( 1000) to get 24$ off some chocolate in shop, and another 150 ptz to get free shipping. so i spent 1$ and got into the bonus redemption. I did get the chocolate about a week before it was expected. and i had no cheater email or problems with the transaction. i even used a visa gift card to set up the paypal account! I do hate how i get automated responses from lockerz when i email them, and sometimes none at all. but i have gotten a few responses which allows me to know someone is there and just ignoring my email when i don’t get a reply.

I have not had to watch ads on videos, i use ad block plus on firefox 3.6 and have not watched a single ad since i got ad block plus add on for firefox, they must be pissed at me

Thanks for making this site, I won’t be using lockerz. I got an email saying it was an invitation only site and it is super exclusive.
The only sites I’ve ever gotten stuff from for free is Goozex (back when you for a free points and trade credit for signing up, still use traded away about 9 games and gotten back around 20 much better than gamestop) and SwagBucks (only $10 in Amazon giftcards, good enough for an xbox arcade game).

Ok yeah I’m pretty angry at lockerz too because I only got to redeem once and that was back in august when I first joined. But c’mon you have too look at their point of view! Lockerz is continuously growing with more and more members and their still trying to figure out how to do a proper redemption. Everymonth they try to do something different in redeeming so more people can get a chance. SO doesn’t that show that atleast their trying. And well yeh were forced to watch videos and answer dailies for ptz but doing those simple things won’t KILL you! With out lockerz making us watch videos and answering dailies then lockerz won’t make any money and go bankrupt and there would be any lockerz site. And of course lockerz has to make money, that’s the whole point! But yeah I’m very angry about the redemptions but remember their point of view and how hard it is for them and just bare with them. So now I realized that you can pretty much use all ur ptz that aren’t going in the crappy redemptions in SHOP. You can get free namebrand things. So that’s pretty good. everyone on this site reading the article that does not get their hard earn points used of their desire, we need to start protest to theese scamers every redemption i have been camping out and it is either i get in everything is gone or the website jsut totally freezes on me if you guys think nothing in life is free you can try swagbucks that is legit 24/7 redemptions lockerz is not a scam fully but every free redemption site earns money like that, but their is some stuff people do not understand by you jsut visiting the site is downloading data and it counts on to ur internet provider and pretend ur useing atat and maybe atat has seen u lately going on to that site they will go like oh lockerz keep doing ur thing and we will pay u and videos their advertisements make money for them, but lockerz is diffrent it does all that regular stuff that every redemption site does but does not give you your hard worken prizes, swagbucks is another storyi tis a search engin that works like google which makes money too but they actually do give you prizes, liek zgore said lockerz does dailies videos to make you think it is legit, but you do not think deeply enough to udnerstand the physics of redemption sites they make go like oh wow why the hell would they waste their time making theese videos if it is not legit this is just my opinion on lockerz we need to take a stand and start a protest agiasnt them!

I am beginning to get so frustrated wih lockerz, i got to the last redemption and as soon as it started (about 2 seconds in) everything was almost gone I couldn’t belive it it should be called a scam basically, If i could and if i had alot of money i would make a site called http://www.fuckyoulockerz.com and destroy their bullshit site by making it lose all their members and make it right for everyone. how many people feel the same as me? Hey they were some really good points it’s just a shame that we ARE all hyped up on trying to win and while a few people get bored most others are living in hope of that I COULD BE THE ONE feeling and I think that’s where Lockerz get it all from. No one knows how many other people are going for what they’re going for or how many are up for your grabs. I guess your success depends on a quicker responding computer and short personal details.

lockerz is definetely not a scam u just wont work to get the points they just had triple ptz and i used that to my advantage i ended up gettin bout 6,000 ptz in about 3 days from vids alone and that isnt even counting the ptz i had before so i bought an xbox elite with blur and i got the xbox last week im still waiting for blur but the shop redemption is alot better i won an ipod nano (red) just because ppl dont wanna pay 79cents to get in but its worth it , it lasts alot longer and theres less people there and my ipods being shipped to me as im typing this gues ill just have to play my brand new XBOX from lockerz to pass the time. =)

lockerz has wasted a lot of my time and effort to try and get something out of it. i’ve been on lockerz for almost a year now and so far my points are next to useless. now i’m just waiting for something good on shop so i could use all of my points for something while not having to spend more than a penny. even after i get something from shop, i’ll probably get a cheating letter.

Just tried in the retro redemption. I get real lucky and get on lockerz 2 minutes before the redemption. Right when the redemption starts, i try to go to ptzplace.lockerz.com, but, it doesnt load for like 1 minute. Then when it does, i try to log in but it says “site not found”
When i finally get in the redemption page, after refreshing a billion times, everything but the backgrounds are fresh out, and its only 2 minutes into the redemption. I had 5k points, not one point from 3x on PLAY, everything was from the 2x on spring break.

All I can really say is wow. A friend told me about Lockerz and she was wearing a Lockerz T-Shirt also. Therefore I got interested in it, and signed up. The entrance video makes it seem like once you get your 3500 PTZ, you get your iPad instantly. So I signed up. I completely regret joing Lockerz now.
Also, if the site LOCKERZ is promoting it self to be a site where you can get a free Dell Laptop for X amount of PTZ instantly, isn’t that illegal. False Advertisement.

Ok, I had 5000 PTZ on my account and when the JUNE/jULY redemption happened, i didn’t get anything. I was in it, ( i have 15MB of internt speed or idk but its super fast) I didn’t get anything because the second i got in, there were 2 things left, ipod shuffle n nanos. I was pissed so i went to shop and bought modnation racers. I found out yesterday that my order was cancelled plus they stole my PTZ. Im gunna sue them ( im gonna do it so dont BS me about *its ur faut* *im gay for them* *their so cool dont sue them*) It is a scam. Please, I know websites that are real such as gaminglagoon, prizereble..ECT, ive used them all and gotten games off of all of them so i know a scam when i see it. LOOK If you are reading this then this means you either agree with me or don’t. If you don’t agree, then i am telling you, PLEASE GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN. They just want to waste your time. THEN…
I spent hours – days- earning points to make my first purchase. The next day I received an email from Lockerz stating that I had “cheated”, when I emailed them about that…
They never wrote back. Two months later…
Still Nothing.

I still didn’t get a chance to redeem, but then again I only have like 300 PTZ. However I see this site as nothing more than a lottery… actually it’s better than a lottery because it hasn’t cost me one red cent. In the lotto you pay 2-4$ for a ticket and have one chance in a billion to win, at Lockerz you pay nothing (although yes, they do make money of off your clicks) and have one chance in ~10 000 000 of getting something.
If you look at it like that, it ain’t bad. I do agree though that the redemptions should be a tad better.

OK, I’ve been a member since October/November. I have a bit over 13,000 PTZ now. The only time I attempted to redeem a prize was during the June Bonus SHOP Redemption (or whatever they called it). As in, I purchased a pair of headphones to qualify. As you can guess, all major prizes were for gone the instant I attempted to redeem. Now, here’s the reason I’m writing — since I didn’t see this written. So… I purchased those headphone Tuesday, June 29. My e-mail stated “Ships in 10 – 17 Business Days.” Ignoring the day I made the purchase, the 17th business has ended — still no package. My friend made a purchase the very same day — no package either. Neither of us received a an e-mail about the our items being sold out. The items were still even available for purchase through the end of the “boutique.” In addition to this, normally when I make an online purchase, I’m able to track to package. Lockerz provided no tracking information. I never even received information that my package has shipped. Now, am I saying Lockerz is taking my money without sending me what I paid for? So far, no. However, you can add more strikes against customer relations — no package information, no tracking information, late deliveries (possibly NO delivery).
There is an interesting point I’m surprised was not addressed. After a purchase, “PTZ earned by [the] purchase [are] awarded to your Lockerz account in a ‘Pending’ status. These PTZ will become ‘Active’ (available for use on the site) 30 days after each item ships.” Lockerz claims SHOP is your big chance at big PTZ. You make a purchase, but have to wait a month and a half to be allowed to use them. First, that successfully prevents users from using earning and using a large number of PTZ, either for purchase or redemption. Lockerz’s excuse for the 30 day wait is to allow for any returns. Really though, it is only an excuse to prevent users from really earning PTZ quickly, whether it’s logical or not. Second, if users wish to use those PTZ, they must remain an active member until the PTZ become available. As in, assuming users don’t leave the site after NOT using these PTZ, Lockerz will successfully increase profit through continued participation in the site. In addition to those two points, Lockerz does not tell users when a package is shipped. As in, users cannot know when the PTZ become available — again, returning them to the site.

Maybe it is a scam but i havnt had any trouble before, i live in the uk so i cant buy from shop but fair enough ive got loads of cool stuff from it 2 ipod touches for my brother and sisters and now im getting one for mysef…. 4 days after i joined i got a notice of a general redemption i couldnt make that one but the next one was 2 weeks later and i got my 1st ipod touch
you just got to be patient and go on it every day!!!!!!!!! im hooked lol but i can see your point it sounds dodgy which is what my friends though but you can ACTUALLY get this stuffthey have panned stuff like autofill so it’s a fairer game

Well, until today, I was one of those people who went onto Lockerz every day, and was a avid user. I came across this site and thought to my self, these are just a bunch of people who didn’t get what they wanted from Lockerz, and are just mad about it. However, now I can agree with everyone here, Lockerz is definitely A SCAM! every redemption I have been in, I enter right away, and within 6 seconds, EVERYTHING is GONE! This does not make sense, and I finally did get to redeem something from a redemption, the pointz were also deducted, and I never received any conformation about redeeming it. About a week after that redemption I sent them an Email asking about the Item I redeemed. About a week after that I get an Email from the Lockerz team, all they sent me was the Redemption Rules, nothing else. Now, it has been well over the 10 to 17 days they say it takes to get the redeemed item, and I still have not received my item. So I felt already a bit ticked about the whole situation, and I have gotten some things from the Shop, so I thought I would take the pointz I have remaining and use them in the Shop and be done with the whole Lockerz thing. The only problem is that they have now scammed us again, almost everything in Shop is above 50,000 pointz! This meaning that If you would like to get anything from shop, you would HAVE to pay lockerz for it! So PLEASE BE WISE, DON’T USE LOCKERZ, AS THE CEO SAID TODAY, THERE ARE 17 MILLION USERS, BUT WHAT SHE LEFT OUT IS THAT THERE IS ONLY A 3 OUT OF A MILLION CHANCE THAT YOU WILL GET ANYTHING!!!! PLAY THE LOTTERY, YOU HAVE BETTER CHANCES, AND ITS LESS WORK.

Here it is. I told my dad, who is an attorney, about how lockerz is scamming so many of us and he said that it might be grounds for a “class action.” I asked what would that do. He said that everyone that had been “injured” (aka scammed) could get paid an amount determined by the court for lockerz deception and/ or shut them down. He also said that since we live in Texas where there is a law called the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act that could make them pay 3 times the amount. Thats BIG money. So I checked online to see if anyone had already started this and found a guy on facebook who is trying to get people together. Just google “Lockerz class action” to find the link. No my dads not the guy!
So here is our chance to get back at lockerz and give the lying cheating thiefs what they deserve. We can complain or fight back. I bet they think that because we are in high school were idiots! I’m not an idiot and I’m pissed off! Everyone on here needs to let that guy know how lockerz scammed us. My dad said the more people the better because the judge will take it more seriously. He hates companies who think they can take advantage off people like this so he said to let everyone know that the best way to stop lockerz is to take them to court and force them to give us what they promised!

Lockerz system is based on making money purely off how it is set up. First, they do not tell you exact dates when redemptions are, leaving you the choice to stay on for long amounts of time, or not try at all, and with all the hype that they give prizes, MANY kids and even adults will most likely choose no-lifing Lockerz. While your waiting, why not get more ptz? More money for Lockerz. It is unfortunate how Lockerz corrupts young minds into thinking they can achieve something- until they figure out the hard way it was all for nothing. If you want a 100% chance of getting some prize, you can either no-life watching video advertisements, surveys, or get a job and on average probably make 15x the money if you even got a prize per month. You choose, take a tiny chance and waste a ton of time, or work a bit and make much more…

Kevin said redemptions are at least an hour. WTF?! The June redemption was like retro points or whatever, so the prices were lowered. THAT FREAKIN REDEMPTION WAS FIVE MINUTES!!!! I spent so much time gaining ptz for that!!! I went from 100 to 1119!!! And I wasted all that time on that freaking garbage!!! I had a lockerz for six months, I didn’t get ANYTHING! My brother made a cash2shop or something like that and after doing offers and stuff he got a dollar in like literally 5 days! He wanted to see if it worked and it does! Sure its harder to earn points on other sites, but at least you actually get something! Any suggestions for online redemption sites? Im not using lockerz ever again! I made fake email addresses to become a z-lister (was not stated you could not in the terms at the time) and they cancelled my shop order i PAID for, and took the money. That was strike 1. Then they said i couldnt get into the retro redemption. thinking it was my fault i accepted the fact and moved on. the new redemption that just happened today denied me as well. strikes 2 and 3. Lockerz is a SCAM. they took my money and valuable time. go to a swagbucks website. its much, much better

First of all :Thanks a billion times for posting this , you literally opened my eyes and I saw through this bloody fraud that is set up by Lockerz.com and the assossiated corps.Secondly, I’d like to mention that I am from Greece so please excuse me for any orthographic mistakes.
Now I’d like to say how I got in this whole thing.I have been a Lockerz member for maybe 3 months now although from the time I signed up I didnt login since the final days of June.I didnt login because , you know , I was like:”Oh my god this is a fraud like every other website giving away free stuff and you have to make f*cking offers and waste time.”At the end of June 2010 as I was on holiday I opened my iTouch in a WiFi hotspot and bored (as usually) decided to open up Lockerz.com to see what the heck is this about.I was sooooo lucky (or maybe unlucky) that the moment I logged in ,even though I had 0PTZ a “Redemption” thing was going on , so I decided to check it out.I went in the electronics tab and admired all this awesome 1000PTZ+ Mac products that I have been looking forward to be able to afford one day (BTW I am 15 years old and in Greece as you may not know EVERY SINGLE Mac product comes with almost DOUBLE the price you would buy it if you lived in the USA).Because of the sh*tty internet connection I promised myself that right when we came back from holiday vacations I would run to my PC and open Lockerz to see what’s this all about ,so I closed my iTouch.For some nights I couldn’t sleep normally as I was dreaming of getting free stuff and off course the most wanted iPad!Until then I was so blinded by the gifts and the no-offers politics that this site used that I was not able to see the small , tiny fraud system that was behind all this.So right when we got back in Athens (the capital of Greece where I live) I ran to my PC booted it up and visited Lockerz.com.I was amazed by the speed you could earn PTZ!2 for logging in + 2 for the “Dailies” thinggy + 4 for the Bonus Questions!
After typically exploring the site for some time I found out how easy it was to earn PTZ using PLAY.I was right in the “3x PTZ in PLAY” week so I reached 1000 PTZ with ease in a day or two.I logged in every day did the Dailies stuff and headed right in PLAY to see more crappy videos!Ooops!What did I say?Oh yeah!C-R-A-P-P-Y!I will get into that later.In another couple o’ days I gathered another awesome 1000PTZ!So I had 2000PTZ!Having in mind that the iPad costed 1000PTZ from my first visit I was more than happy to find my dad and tell him that an iPad was waiting for us!After checking out the site himself he tried to convince me that the site was TOTTALY A FRAUD.I did not even want to listen to him so I was like:”Noooo way!Look at all this awesome stuff people got in youtube and it is free!”So he never talked to me about that site again.As the 3x week ended I was starting to get bored watching vids as I got only 2 PTZ, until today the 5th of August 2010.I looked at my computer’s calendar and said:”Oh my god !I haven’t been outside the house for 6 days now sitting in front of this bloody website!”Then I thought about everything I had done in my struggle of getting PTZ.I watched 100+videos a day ,I sent invites to all of my friends(although only 1(!) accepted the invite)and right when I saw that it was not working I called my girlfriend and told her to open the invite I would sent her so that se joined and I would be a step closer to the Z-list status.She did not accept it off course and tried to make me tell her what is wrong with that website since I hadn’t gone out for a week.I didn’t have the time to talk.I had to make PTZ fast for the upcoming Redemption.I renewed the Hallway tab and the Redeem tab every minute to make sure I do not miss even one single update ,although the “CHECK BACK SOON” banner was waiting there for me every time.My mother started to shout at me one day because I couldn’t stick off the PC.My father was pretty sure I would learn my lesson soon enough…I had 3000PTZ…What could go wrong?The iPad costed 1000PTZ…I was sure that it was mine…Right? WRONG!The July Redemption just happened as I was typing this text.And after one minute EVERY SINGLE THING WAS GONE!Furthermore the iPad did not cost 1000PTZ as in previous Redemptions but something like 11000ptz?I ain’t sure because I closed the damn site , logged out and sweared that ,for the love of god, I would never EVER go back in this mess again!I had abandoned my personal life for this sh*t , sitting in front of a screen looking like I was expecting the Messiah to come from this stupid fraud-based website!After that and after reading this post I would advise every single human being never ever become a member of this site.It is a waste of your time and logic as it brainwashes you with stupid non-humorous ads that are boring and taped with a 10$ webcam(JK).That was all I would like to say about my story.I strongly believe that many people’s stories are simiral to mine.In the end I figured out that this site offers many things that only few people can enjoy(and when I say few I mean 20.000 out of 300.000+ members).In the end I ‘d like to state what can this site finally offer you after all this talking:
-Anxiety about the next Restock
-Headaches from all this videos you watch every day in order to get PTZ
-15.000 people MIGHT GET GIFTS(Ooooh YEAH! :-p)
-Insomnia
-Brainwashing from all these ads(although 98% of them are not available in my country)
-Complete boredom and distraction from your social life and friends(I bet a man in this post commented that he said he was ill in order not to go to work and refresh the site again and again, not to lose the Restock)
-Makes you buy stuff you might NOT EVEN NEED that are OVERPRICED so that you can get thousands of PTZ
-And (finally) seriously these two guys the one with the glasses and the brunet one…ARE YOU SERIOUS?THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE ANY SENSE OF HUMOUR!They are like saying something for the laughs , do silly stuff GET FREAKING PAID for doing so and I am watching their humourless DAILIES videos in order to accumulate PTZ I never spend!?Oh my god!Think about it guys!FINAL ANSWER:LOCKERZ.COM IS A BLOODY SPAM as long as it offers (almost!) nothing and does not have free prizes waiting for you as it says in the intro video and as it is rumored.The post rocks and sorry for any mistakes again.

I have been in lockerz for a while, I have like 9,217 im so pissed b/c the Redemption was today and I missed it, LOCKERZ IS A SCAM, a real legit website would tell you when Redemption opens, send an E-Mail or something. Honestly, I have received a few prizes, and my friends have received many- including MacBooks, PS3s, iPods, etc.

LOCKERZ IS SCAM!!!!!! I had 20.000 PTZ and the Xbox did cost 80.000 PTZ. I thought nice soone I will get one. When I reached 40.000 PTZ the Xbox went up to 180.000 PTZ WTF!!! Now I’m at 55.000 PTZ and it cost 260.000 PTZ. Like some1 is watching me and when i get close, he raise the points so I dont get anything xD

Its not a scam its just hard to get into redemption. and with the terms of use on lockers stating that you cannot cheat to get z-list its not uncommon for people to get redemption denied. making fake emails will not help you when it comes to redeeming. Personally i have the tshirt and i got crackdown 2 for 360 but since the shop update over 100,000 ptz for 100% off, i have quit lockerz. it was a great website when it came out 2 years ago but now its gay.

I gave up on Lockerz about 6 months ago. I never was able to redeem so I gave into shop. I ordered a T-Shirt and payed like $1 plus points. After I used all my points for an eye toy. A day or two later I get a “I cheated” email. I sent over 20 emails and finally got a response, I just asked what I did. They wouldn’t tell me. I never got my Eye toy, but a few weeks later my shirt came in the mail.
Tip! They won’t say you cheated if you pay a little cash for an item from shop. So just put in a $1 if you plan on ordering anything….or else you might lose all your points. I hate those a**holes!

I wish I could convince my friends to leave Lockerz, I knew from the beginning it would be a scam because well, what they’re offering is too good to be true.

wait i dont see what the big deal is, it doesnt take money to make a lockerz account so whats with all this spam stuff. If you buy something from shop you get your item plain and simple, so no deceit there. i bought a few things from lockerz SHOP and it came in the mail just fine took 3 weeks but still got here. and as for profit lockerz has the right to make money, the people at lockerz have created a smart way to make money that doesn’t require much money from there side, and no money from your side

Lockerz has never guaranteed users prizes. They do not advertise that you WILL get a prize, you could get a prize. It seems people will view Lockerz as a scam if it does not meet their outrageous expectations. Yes part of the problem is that they don’t clearly explain and layout exactly how the site works. But why do that if it’s just going to discourage users. Also why do you not look for sites like this before you let your greed take over.

Look my honest opinion is that the runner of this website got mad at himself and the world when he couldn’t help but to realize all the good stuff was gone from the redemption, so he raged off of the site, made this one to tell people its fake, when in reality he just wasn’t fast enough… Obviously this company is run by the former CEO of amazon, therefore knowingly it is legit, and the money doesn’t come from the site owner’s pocket. Lockerz gets money from the ads that pay to advertise, the more visits a site gets, the more money they make. As well as my friend from school got a Z lister shirt, and an xbox for staying up all nightfor a redemption.
You may think you’re so smart about this but there’s a lil’ something called common sense. so get your head out of your end and stfu.

Why waste your time defending lockers if its indeed a scam. i bet the ones saying good things here are from the Lockerz, to make defend their site and make it real. Do your best in defending your company and the people will also do their best to share their bad experience towards your company. Plain and simple.

its not a scam, you aren’t paying them money, so who cares? the only thing that was lost was your time, plus now with the shop, you can use your points towards prizes that you can also pay money for, you can choose to say, spend 100,000 points plus like, 50 bucks- and get a tv. or you can use 400k or so and get the tv for free, nobody is forcing you to dole out actual money, and even if you DO its usually not as much as say paying 600 dollars for that tv you just redeemed points for, brand new, what a retarded “blog”.
The only thing you end up losing is the time you invested into the website, and if that time was so important to you anyways, why not use it for something useful? like, I dont know, not using lockerz?

I just used 93,000 points to get a xbox game for 10 dollars. I received the infamous email you conducted fraud. Of course I didn’t. They responded to me with a generic response. I have been able in the past to redeem prizes. But the prizes were blankets and small things like that. I’m still waiting for my 10 dollars back.

Good argument you got here, I agree with everything except for the redemption part. I have redeemed in every single redemption since I joined. I’ve been on lockerz 2 months since it opened. Yea, really, every single redemption I participated in, I got at least a $15 gift card, no joke.

I got enough points by watching videos and made an order for a game for free and lockerz sent me a cancellation order. I did as the terms and agreements say so I do not know why they would cancel my order. Now lets see if my husband gets his game. We each did the site and ordered one game off shop each within one year.

I’m glad I read this review rather early in my adventures in lockerz. I spent 4 hours watching videos on lockerz, (with the volume down) listening to itunes simultaneously or browsing on facebook, while entering capchas. For starters, I was under the impression that you could instantly redeem your points, but part of me knew this was too good to be true and I was right. I may try the bidding from time to time and see how that goes.
There is so many deceitful things about this website. I wonder how many other users actually knew that you could only redeem at certain times (let alone a sell out of 1 minute), before wasting hours watching retarded videos that only give them commission. I swear, lockerz has the weirdest videos that probably only aids their laughter as they pile up commission.
I owned my own referral incentive offer website a couple years back and made some pretty good money during its short stint (around $9,000 revenue — not pure profit) before i ran into competition and took it down. You would think someone with this experience would have been able to spot the underlying fallacies in lockerz.

I would say that Lockerz is a partial scam.
I have won 2 redemptions, the first was a $15 Chili’s gift card, which I didn’t get because I “cheated”. The second was only a stupid stick no one else wanted, but I was there and was planning on winning something, but I did actually get it.
I have also gotten Call of Duty: Black Ops from shop (120K points….)
However, when I tried to get Infamous 2 from shop, I got the you cheated, say good bye to your 116K points.
I find it odd how I never changed what I was doing from the start, and yet on 2 occasions when I wanted a high demand item, I apparently cheated.
The timeline for this went Gift card (didn’t get for “cheating”) > sticker (received) > Black Ops (received) > Infamous 2 (didn’t get for “cheating”).
So if I was cheating, didn’t change anything I was doing and then magically wasn’t cheating for 2 items, and then was somehow cheating again, either they are just making it all up (most likely true), or they constantly change their rules.
Screw Lockerz, there are plenty of other sites that actually give you prizes.

Lockerz is totally a SCAM. T-O-T-A-L-L-Y, TOTALLY. I been trying to win prizes at the auction 24/7, I supposly bid at the last 5 seconds for some ear phones, I was surely I would win, but guess what happen… said OUTBID, it’s like they had some kind of control where they can bid at the very last sec without losing.
If people say they won a prize, don’t belive them it’s a LIE, a total LIE LIE LIE.
Imma make it simple for u reading this:
Would u rather watch retarded videos to earn points and then redeem them so in the last sec you 100% lose or go to another website where they really give stuff for points.
Lockerz can’t afford to put things like PS3 and some other expensive every HOUR.

yeah, about the z-list shirt. About a year ago, i made the z-list and waited for my shirt. guess what, it never fricking came. i redeemed my points for some headphones. they said sorry, too late and took all 2,000 of my points. ALL. lockerz is crap.

When I tried to buy something on shop (A T-shirt an Iphone decal and a bag for a family member) I received an e-mail saying I cheated to get 20 e-mails for my Z-lister status and they stating they believe in giving second chances and just canceled my order and refunding my money. However a week or so came by and I got the T-shirt and Iphone decal in the bag, surprised I checked Paypal to see if I was deducted money, I wasn’t. By then I had deemed Lockerz could go fuck themselves and I didn’t say anything to them.
