Lockerz Prize Goes On Back Order (Part 2)
For those who read back in January, our friend 5hadowenygm4 redeemed a PS3 but it went on back order. If you want to read the previous article, the link is http://lockerz-scam.com/2010/01/31/lockerz-prize-goes-on-back-order/. I’m not going to go through the details but here are the basics of what happened previously.
1. 5hadowenygm4 successfully beat the crowd of Lockerz members during the December restock and redeemed a PS3.
2. He gets a confirmation e-mail in January congratulating him on redeeming the PS3.
3. He gets another e-mail from Lockerz in January saying that he has been back ordered because of the excessive amount of orders on the PS3. He was to get it in 3-4 more weeks.
4. We all wait with him for 3-4 weeks and now time is up. We have not heard back from Lockerz regarding his redemption. Apparently, he got no response from Kathy when he emailed her about it.
So Lockerz, where’s the PS3? Is this how you treat members? You use them and then forget about them once they want something they rightfully gotten? Let it be written that I will do everything in my ability to get 5hadowenygm4 his PS3. (Any suggestions would be nice)(No suggestions of Terrorism or DDoS attacks)
Show me how lockerz is legit!
Show me your proof that what we say (lockerz-scam.com) is false and lockerz is legit. Show us that everything we say is just made up. Don’t go and post videos and pictures of your prize or someone elses prize because that does not prove anything other than that you or someone else has gotten a prize. If you have read anything on this site you should know by know that we are not saying lockerz gives nothing but that they give a very small percentage of membership a prizes. Do you think lockerz is giving a large percentage of membership a prize? If so then show us proof of that and show some estimated numbers of how they would afford that. Don’t post links to several pictures or videos because you would need to post more than 200,000 to show that 5% of membership has gotten a prize from all the redemptions combined. Show me proof that lockerz isn’t influencing people to stay on. Show me proof that you have a big chance of getting a prize. Also don’t post a link to Liberty media or to something that says Kathy was a ceo of amazon or stuff like that because all that shows is ownership. Just because a legit company owns part of other does not make the people running the other site legit. Show me some logical proof with a logical explanation to show that lockez is legit.
Funny Daily
I want to let everyone know, I answered the February 8th daily, here is the link and screen shot for all to see, if you would like to add more to this post
Lockerz CEO
has no conscience. She’s setting a bad example, not only for teenagers, but for society. She’s showing us that we can make money playing off people’s interests and the recession by promising big prizes for simple tasks, and then pushing big bucks into her own bank account. Every daily you do, gets sold to companies as ultra-targeted survey info, so that they can start advertising you, sending e-mails, mails, and more to you. The big picture shows what they’re really trying to do. But you would have never thought about this when signing up, you just thought, “Oh sweet, I can get an iPod in a couple weeks just answering questions!”
You were wrong.
Lockerz Policy
“9. How many accounts can I have? Members are entitled to one account per person. Each person within a household can have their own account.” [http://www.lockerz.com/faq]
Yet again, have you ever seen a rewards site allow this? It’s way too easy to make 5 accounts on Lockerz and say it’s for you, your mom, dad, sister, and brother. Almost all people I know that I got into the program have created multiple alternate accounts to get Z-List and to get more PTZ, and they haven’t gotten punished. The team is too trusting, and promises way too much.
Anyways, I have seen so many programs like Lockerz that promise huge rewards, ROIs (Return on Investments), and more, and I’ll list just a small sample:
perfectptr.com
1-800-mail.com
100cents-1000dollars.com
2-dollar-mail.com
That’s probably only .0001% of all the scam sites on the internet. A quick search on Google shows this.
Now what do these sites and Lockerz have in common? High priced items/cash for menial tasks that are TOO easy to do.
Is Lockerz Legit or Fake?
“Be a lover not a fighter. Wear by itself or layer to make a wow statement. Easily adjusts to create a perfect fit.” [http://www.lockerz.com/about]
What’s that supposed to mean? Obviously, the web-team doesn’t do too good of a job on maintaining the integrity of the site, that must be something added in as a joke by a hacker, or part of the team. If the page is to change, as I believe it will, this is a screenshot of it:

Since this obviously doesn’t tell you much about the site, let’s see the FAQ, which is long, so I’ll just place excerpts:
“What is Lockerz: Lockerz is an invitation-only website created to connect members through commerce, content and community. Watch exclusive video, discover new music, play games, connect with friends, and get rewarded for it. The more often you visit, the more opportunities you have to earn PTZ (or “Pointz”), Lockerz’ own form of currency. Lockerz was founded in March, 2009.” [http://www.lockerz.com/faq, #1]
Now that you know what Lockerz is all about, let’s look at how legit Lockerz is.
Before we go over anything, I’d like you to see the before and after pictures that prove this is a scam:

Scamalicious. How can you redeem something if it’s freshout?! This oddity occurs with every item in the fake Lockerz Restock, and the only items that are redeemable are Computer Wallpapers; which no one signed up to the site for. The site was too good to be true, but people were lured into the trap of clever wording, an easy process, and promises of very expensive items for doing menial tasks.
(Please remember this was during the September Lockerz Restock, I will continue checking on subsequent updates to see how legit Lockerz really is!)
Lockerz Invite
It’s truly unbelievable what people are doing to increase their Lockerz invite count. Fake e-mails, invite script, automatic Lockerz invite, and invite bot hack are becoming very popular across the net. Automatic Lockerz invite is spreading like a worm across the internet; thousands of sites have propped up across the internet. Including automatic Lockerz invite, fake e-mails are being created by people, and it’s fraudulent. The more they get, the more PTZ they get. It’s as simple as that. Lockerz invites, and sites giving away automatic Lockerz invites will continue until there are no more people to be invited.
Lockerz Sells Dailies Along With Demographic Info
Lockerz-Scam has found a site giving more info about what Lockerz is really doing with your info. Check out this site to read the article.
Lockerz Sweepstakes
Wow.
It keeps getting better and better. Now, Lockerz wants you to spend your hard-earned PTZ on some worthless prizes that you probably won’t even get.
Here’s a quote from Jackpot23 on the forums that got me thinking, “The sad part is they might not name anyone that won, so will can never tell if it’s real or not.”
They’re now giving away prizes that should’ve been able to be redeemed in the restocks. Which they weren’t. Considering the site was all screwed up. Supposedly.
Odyss Amnesty Week
“Announcing “Odyss Amnesty Week.”
If you got your PTZ in unfair or illegitimate ways, you’ll want to know that Odyss, our Lockerz dog, has asked us to give you one LAST chance to come clean.
You have until 11:59 PM EST on November 13, 2009 to email us at amnesty@lockerz.com and confess how you cheated (when, how, and how many PTZ). We will remove those PTZ from your account. You won’t be banned — as long as you continue to follow Lockerz terms, conditions and rules.
If you don’t email us, and we discover you have cheated, your PTZ will be set to ZERO (including your game, login, invitation and dailies PTZ) and you’ll risk termination of your Lockerz membership, as well as cancellation of any pending prize redemption.
We strongly urge you to take Odyss up on his offer.
- The Lockerz Crew” [http://www.lockerz.com/myLockerz]
Wow, I must say, this is a nice idea, but almost too nice. I’ve never seen a rewards site give something like this, they go by the mantra, “Once a cheater, always a cheater”.
Which is valid. If you think about it, most jail terms are from repeat offenders, what makes them so forgiving?
